Visit to the Parish by Bishop Peter

On Sunday 7 January 2007 we warmly welcomed our Bishop, the Right Reverend Peter Doyle, Bishop of Northampton, on the occasion of his first official Visitation to the Catholic Parish of Long Crendon.   It was a great joy to have Bishop Peter offer the Sacrifice of the Mass for and with us on the Solemnity of the Epiphany as well as his company during an informal dinner with members of the parish the previous evening at the Gatehangers Arms following the vigil Mass at St. Edmund  of Abingdon.
